This thing is small! It's 1.5 x 3.8 x .4" large. I could simply attach it to the top or back of the GoPro HD and be done, however, I don't want to cover up the LCD too much. I'll play around a bit and see what I can figure out.

Size comparison of the Sanyo Xacti sound recorder with a GoPro HD Hero
I couldn't wait for the Sanyo Xacti sound recorder to arrive so I spent a few minutes and made a life-size model just to see how I could possibly mount it close to my GoPro HD Hero.
This thing is small! It's 1.5 x 3.8 x .4" large. I could simply attach it to the top or back of the GoPro HD and be done, however, I don't want to cover up the LCD too much. I'll play around a bit and see what I can figure out.
